Marco Island Beach Access Guide
Everything Property Owners Need to Know
One of the questions I hear most from buyers after they purchase a home or condominium on Marco Island is surprisingly simple:
"How do I access the beach?"
While Marco Island is famous for its beautiful white sand beaches, there are actually several different ways residents can enjoy convenient access depending on where they live and whether they own property on the island.
This guide explains the two programs every Marco Island property owner should know about.
The Marco Island Residents' Beach Club
For many homeowners, membership in the Marco Island Residents' Beach Club quickly becomes one of the most appreciated benefits of owning property here.
Located at 130 South Collier Boulevard, the Residents' Beach Club provides private beach access along with amenities that make spending the day at the beach incredibly convenient.
Membership Benefits Include:
- Direct residents-only beach access
- Convenient on-site parking
- Paradise Grill restaurant
- Shaded outdoor seating
- Restrooms
- Picnic chickees with charcoal grills
- Children's playground
- Beach wheelchairs
- Handicap-accessible facilities
- Family-friendly concerts and community events throughout the year
For many of my clients, this becomes their favorite place to meet friends, enjoy sunset dinners, or spend an afternoon with visiting family.
Sarazen Park
Membership also includes access to Sarazen Park, located on the southern end of Marco Island.
Amenities include:
- Beach access
- Parking
- Restrooms
- Playground
- Picnic facilities
- The island's largest chickee hut
It's another excellent option for residents looking for a quieter beach experience.
