There are moments in business that remind you why relationships, leadership, and continual evolution matter so deeply. This week has been one of those moments.
I am currently attending a leadership gathering as a member of Club 1744 — representing the top 100 advisors within the Premier Sotheby’s International Realty brand — and the experience has already been incredibly impactful.
What has made this gathering especially meaningful is the intimate access to leadership and the opportunity for authentic conversations surrounding innovation, partnership, and the future of luxury real estate.
Throughout the event, I had the privilege of spending meaningful time with some of the most influential leaders in our industry, including:
• Robert Reffkin- co-founder and CEO of Compass, as one of the most influential figures in real estate, he is re-shaping the industry.
• Kathy Forrester- CMO, Premier Sotheby's International Realty
• Tara Brown- CEO, Peerage Realty Partners
• Budge Huskey, President and CEO of Premier Sotheby's International Realty
While each conversation offered unique perspective, one theme consistently surfaced: luxury real estate is evolving rapidly, but the future of this business cannot be built on technology alone.
There is no question that innovation is transforming the client experience. Digital visibility, artificial intelligence, social media, cinematic video, and data-driven marketing strategies are no longer optional tools in luxury real estate — they are essential. Buyers are consuming information differently, researching differently, and building trust differently than they did even a few years ago.
Technology has become one of the greatest drivers behind elevating service, exposure, and overall client experience.
But despite the rapid advancement of technology, one truth remains undeniable: this business is still deeply human.
Clients still need trusted advisors who can guide them through major financial and emotional decisions. They need honest conversations, strategic guidance, advocacy, and professionals who understand the nuance behind value, negotiation, timing, and lifestyle.
Real estate cannot become entirely cloud-based.
The advisors and companies who will lead the next era of luxury real estate will be those who successfully balance innovation with authentic human connection — using technology not to replace relationships, but to strengthen them.
What left the greatest impression on me throughout this gathering was the shared belief that quality, ethics, collaboration, and partnership still matter immensely in this industry — perhaps now more than ever.
As someone who has built my business around relationship-driven service while embracing modern marketing and digital storytelling, these conversations reinforced exactly why thoughtful innovation matters. The future belongs to advisors willing to evolve while remaining grounded in service, trust, and authenticity.
I am incredibly grateful for the leadership, perspective, and conversations shared this week, and excited for the continued evolution of luxury real estate.
